Todd has been an active technology angel investor, advisor, and board member for several technology companies over the past 13 years and he was an early executive board member for the Virginia Tech APEX Center for Entrepreneurs.
Currently he is the Lead Outside Director for ZeroFOX (Nasdaq: ZFOX) an external cybersecurity company and an early investor and advisor to Pangea Cyber Corp, security API’s for builders.
Previously Todd has served as a board member or advisor for several cybersecurity companies – Qualys (NASDAQ: QLYS), Phantom Cyber, LogRhythm, ThreatQuotient, and DisruptOps.
Todd served the Chief Financial Officer of Sourcefire (Nasdaq: FIRE) from 2003 until its $2.7B acquisition by Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) in 2013. When Todd joined Sourcefire it had 35 employees and $2M in annual revenue. He helped take it public in 2007, and was instrumental in growing the business to over 700 people and nearly $300M in annual revenues before being sold to Cisco.
From 1992-2003 Todd held key financial management positions in a few DC area venture-backed technology start-ups, each of which was acquired – Riverbed Technologies, Roadshow, BioNetrix and POMS.
Todd began his career in 1985 in public accounting with Arthur Andersen. He is a CPA and holds a BS degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech.
