Lunch Pail Ventures Partner and Leads PR Efforts

“I graduated from Virginia Tech in 1989 with a double major in German and Political Science, with an aim for law school. After a few years, I took an international business job in Germany. Shortly before I was set to leave, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. He died within six months and it changed everything for me. I was pretty lost and fell into a life of entrepreneurship. I started with real estate and event planning, owning a retail store, inventing a product, becoming a PR Strategist, and now I am an on-air lifestyle host, am freelance writing, and have an award-winning podcast.

In 2022, Nick Cullen asked me to be a part of the leadership team. They were all finance people and needed someone who could help with marketing. I was truly humbled and excited at the opportunity. I have enjoyed every minute of it and I have learned so much about private equity and investing.

We surpassed anything I ever imagined over the past 2 years: $10M+ in investments, one exit, more opportunities coming in all the time. I’d love to see Virginia Tech get more involved with it as I think it’s such a win-win and would only bring more exposure and opportunity to Hokies everywhere!

I’m honored to be a part of this amazing organization and provide opportunities to Hokie led companies and people who would otherwise not have access to these types of investments.”
