It’s never been harder to be a working parent.

Parental burnout is so prevalent that the U.S. Surgeon General deemed it a public health priority. The relentless demands of work, lack of local support systems, and growing mental health challenges leave families struggling daily. 48 million families face these challenges, impacting their well-being at home and at work—while employers see increased turnover, lost productivity, and $300B in additional costs each year.

For Triplemoon Founder/CEO Lauren Gage, these challenges weren’t just statistics—they were personal. Like so many first-time parents, Lauren struggled with mental, behavioral, and nutritional health challenges while navigating new parenthood. Sorting through non-evidence-based, generic resources online felt overwhelming, and she realized that parents don’t just need care—they need personalized, expert-backed support.

Lauren had spent years building a corporate career, most recently at McKinsey & Company, but after experiencing firsthand how broken the system was for working parents, she left her job to build the solution she wished she’d had. With Triplemoon, Lauren found her calling: helping working parents get the village and evidence-based support they need to thrive.

The Story Behind Triplemoon

Lauren met her husband, Ben Marshall, shortly after graduation—Ben from Virginia Tech (’10) and Lauren from University of Michigan (’10)—while they were both working at Goldman Sachs in NYC. After a quick stint as colleagues, they started dating… and the rest was history.

Fast forward 15+ years, and Ben and Lauren found themselves in Dallas, where Ben was working as a Portfolio Manager at Triumph Financial and Lauren was deep in her corporate career. Like many Millennials who start families later in life, they faced fertility challenges and pregnancy complications—challenges that only reinforced the urgent need for better support for parents.

Ben has been a champion of Triplemoon since day one, supporting Lauren’s mission to redefine parenting support and help parents get the care they need to balance work, life, and everything in between.
